What tone would you like to set for your wedding ceremony?  Elegant?  Exuberant?  Joyful with a splash of humor?

As an experienced wedding musician, I can work with you to create the mood you would prefer.  From Classical to Modern, there are music selections that can reflect your vision and help create a meaningful ceremony for you.

With over 25 years of experience in collaborating with other wedding professionals, I can direct other musicians so that they work seamlessly together to create a cohesive sound.

How much does wedding ceremony music typically cost?

My basic fee which includes consultation and planning, acclimating myself to the provided organ or other instrument, and providing music for the ceremony, is $250.

If additional rehearsal time is needed with other musicians for the wedding, the rehearsal fees are $50 an hour.

Planning your ceremony

If your wedding is being held at a church, the minister will be able to provide you with a basic outline to help you plan a ceremony that fits within that church's traditions.  Catholic weddings have a very specific format.

On this website, I have provided suggestions for Catholic weddings, as they follow a specific format. 

​If your wedding is not at a church, you can pull ideas from this format and make it your own.  Typical wedding ceremonies contain an introduction by the official, readings either from scripture, poetry, or an essay, words of advice from the presider, an exchange of vows and rings, and some symbol of unity: lighting of a unity candle, pouring of colored sand, or pouring of colored water.

I can also recommend additional musicians to create the sound you want.  There are many musicians who do a fantastic job.  I regularly work with Silver Flight, a violinist who does a stellar job at every event they play.
