What Child is This?

This expressive arrangement of "What Child is This?" for violin and piano has many moods.  The first verse is a simple arrangement of the original.  The second verse reflects the sadness of the text that is traditionally sung to this melody at Christmas that refers to the future crucifixion of Christ.  The triumphant third verse is faster, jubilant, and makes use of hemiola to add excitement.
